Callers hear the assistant disclosure and recording notice

Your receptionist says it is a virtual assistant and that the call is recorded at the start of each call. Both notices are required parts of the greeting and cannot be turned off.

  • Assistant disclosureThe opening greeting tells callers they are speaking with a virtual assistant.
  • Recording noticeCallers are told the conversation is recorded before the intake questions.
  • Fixed noticesYour business settings cannot switch off either part of that opening disclosure.

The notices are part of how we answer calls for your business. Your receptionist identifies itself as a virtual assistant and announces recording before gathering the caller's request. You can supply your business information and call-handling policies while those disclosures remain in place.

You can hear the greeting in a recorded demo conversation. Demo calls and chats on this website are also recorded and transcribed so you can see the result. Listen to the opening and review the output as part of deciding whether the service fits your business.

How call information is stored, used, and retained

We use hosting and storage providers to operate the service and process call information on your business's behalf. Your dashboard contains calls, transcripts, and recordings; your selected retention period determines when recordings are deleted.

Your business decides what caller information to collect and why; we process it on your behalf. Hosting and storage, telephone carriers, AI voice and text providers, and email delivery providers help operate the service. You can review call records in the dashboard, and call alerts include summaries, transcripts, and recordings.

Recordings stay for your chosen period of 30 or 90 days before deletion. Transcripts and summaries stay while your account is open, then are deleted within 30 days after closure or on request. We do not sell personal information or use callers' data for our own marketing.
